His work has been featured at such venues as the world renowned Lincoln Center Out-Of-Doors Festival in Manhattan to The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts to the Lehman Center for the Arts. While a student at New York University, Mr. Harrington studied with such notable theatre veterans as Agnes DeMille, Alfred Drake, Marni Nixon and Larry Fuller. Additionally, he directed the world premier of the opera, Daddy's Money. Most recently, Mr. Harrington produced the world premier of Nelson DeMille's children's play, Rumpelstiltskin.

As a director and as an associate member of The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC), Mr. Harrington has staged over two hundred productions including Cabaret, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Goin' Hollywood, Gypsy, Hello Dolly, Into the Woods, Irene, Joseph, La Cage aux Folles, Little Shop of Horrors, My Fair Lady, Nunsense, Oliver, Pippin, Side by Side by Sondheim, State Fair, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music and Zorba.

Along with his wife, Phyllis, their greatest productions to date are their children, Alex and Emma
