The Emperor’s New Clothes
One of Hans Christian Andersen’s finest tales about a “wise old” ruler, who was excessively fond of new clothes and two swindlers. The swindlers bamboozle the Emperor into wearing a suit of clothing that is invisible only to fools. The swindlers in the meantime pretend to weave a magnificent suit, but of course do not. Naturally, since the Emperor did not want to appear ignorant, he wore his new outfit in a parade and, or course, made an even bigger fool of himself. This fabulous musical adaptation was presented on CBS-TV!
Aladdin
Set in ancient China, Aladdin uses artful Chinese theatre techniques to sing and dance the familiar tale of a poor boy, a beautiful princess and a very large genie in a very tiny lamp. Based on the classic Arabian Nights story re-popularized by the recent animated film, this Aladdin boasts not one, but two magic genies! Aladdin’s score includes I’m Free, A Great Magician Am I, Up, Up High, I Am A Genie and Aladdin.
Carousel
Rodgers and Hammerstein's masterpiece takes place between 1873 and 1888 in a small New England fishing village. The story revolves around a love affair between Billy Bigelow, a traveling carnival man, and Julie Jordan, a local factory worker. Desperate for money after learning that he is soon to become a father, Billy is killed during an attempted robbery. Several years later, when he is allowed to return to earth for a short time, he seeks out the daughter of his union with Julie. The haunting score includes If I Love You, My Boy Bill, June is Bustin’ Out All Over, and You’ll Never Walk Alone.

This hilarious comedy focuses on trendy Manhattan art gallery owners, Barbara and David Kahn, whose life is upended when her Mineola housewife sister Trudy deposits their eccentric mother Sophie on the couple's doorstep while she and her husband Martin head to Buffalo to rescue their precocious college student daughter. Barbara and David introduce Sophie to suave artist Maurice Koenig, who offers to paint her portrait and soon begins to brighten her life in ways she never expected in her twilight years. Stowing away with Billy are “Moonface” Martin, a second-rate gangster on the lam labeled “Public Enemy 13,” and his friend Bonnie; the two have disguised themselves as a minister and a missionary, respectively, after stranding the ship’s real chaplain back at the port. This hilarious musical comedy will delight all audiences.
Charlotte’s Web
All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web in which she writes, “Some pig.” It’s the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship which provides your audience with a magical experience.

successively by three ghosts: the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. They bring revelations to Scrooge, mainly about himself, and he’s shocked into action that centers about the poor but happy Cratchit family and their brave little crippled son, Tiny Tim.
